In the undertaking of a TrailWorld Limited off-road motorcycle activity you accept and agree to the following statements:
The deposit paid at the time of booking is part of the total cost and will not be refunded unless Trailworld cancels the planned ride.
Balance payment is due 1 month before your planned ride with Trailworld and no refund will be given once this is paid due to booking time of instructors.
Off-road motorcycling can be a dangerous activity and whilst every effort is made to ensure your safety, TrailWorld Limited or any of it’s agents will not be held responsible whatsoever for any injury that may result from a fall or accident with other road, trail or track users.
You are in a state of general good health and do not suffer from any illness or injury that could be a danger to yourself, other TrailWorld Limited customers or any other road, trail or track users.
You have declared any medical condition that may be relevant in the event of an accident or similar.
TOURS - You are aged 21 or above and hold a full current unrestricted motorcycle licence.
You are not riding under the influence of any illegal substances or alcohol.
You are a minimum height of 5ft 3in.
If a motorcycle breaks down or becomes un-ridable due to rider error or rider falls, TrailWorld are not at liberty to supply a replacement vehicle although, where possible, we will endeavour to fix any simple issues.
You agree to ride in a responsible manner at all times whilst partaking in a TrailWorld Limited motorcycle activity and understand that you may be required to ride on standard roads whilst travelling between byways on our tours.
All trails used on the Guided Tour are public rights of way and you will be expected to take the same care riding these as you would on the open road.
Clients seen riding in an inappropriate manner, or abusing the hire motorcycles will be given a warning, or advise on how to ride the machine, in the first instance, and in extreme cases, your TrailWorld Limited off-road guide reserves the right to end the tour with immediate effect. Furthermore, if damage is caused to the motorcycle whilst riding in an inappropriate manner, all replacement parts will be invoiced to the customer in control of the vehicle at the time, at cost.
You will be expected to give way and slow down for walkers and other trail users. When encountering horse riders we request that you pull to one side and turn off the motorcycle until they have passed.
You understand and accept that, should other TrailWorld Limited clients partaking in the same activity need more time to clear a lane or obstacle, you will be required to be patient and wait for them.
There will be as many ‘rest stops’ as required to ensure that all clients are happy to continue with the activity.
In extreme weather conditions, or other mitigating circumstances, TrailWorld Limited reserves the right to postpone an activity. Clients will be issued with a new date for their tour. Unfortunately, TrailWorld Limited will not issue refunds in these circumstances. Furthermore, some trails may become inpassable in the winter months and an alternative route may have to be found.
You are responsible for the vehicle that has been assigned to you and will be responsible for any rider related road offences that may incur a penalty from the police, such as speeding or riding without due care and attention. If you have chosen to swap bikes with someone else on the tour, you are still responsible for the motorcycle that was originally assigned to you.
