About the Race Experience Day
Our RED's are designed to allow you to find your feet in off road riding, build confidence and acquire the skills needed to enter a race. The course is marked out very similar to whats used for a race with a few of the more technical sections bypassed.
The days starts at around 9.30 am where you will be directed to the TrailWorld area. We will get you kitted up in all of the safety gear, introduce you to the bikes and then get you signed in with the event organisers.
Riding starts at 10.00am and you have an open track until 12.30pm we have a lunch break until 1.00pm we then run a 1 hour race to give you a feel for racing, you then have the track open again until 3.00pm (4.00pm in the Summer)
Throughout the day you will find marshalls floating around the course happy to help and offer advise, (when available we also have various top british riders like Paul Edmonson present to help with advice).
The main aim of the day is for you to enjoy yourself and build your confidence, we do not throw lots of instructions at you if you feel like pulling up for a rest as long as its in a safe place then thats no problem, theres always a very relaxed atmosphere in the car park as your amongst similar people and no 'race day' stress.
What do we supply?
TrailWorld include the entry fee in the price and supply you with a 250cc 4T motorcycle (upgrade to 450cc may be available for an extra £30). You will also be supplied with a crash helmet, enduro boots, body armour, knee guards, gloves, race pants, race jersye/jacket and goggles.
